Finding a good acai bowl in London can prove a tad difficult. I would guess it has a little something to do with the climate and the fact that normal people would have porridge or something hot for breakfast…

But not me, I am always on the hunt for my daily acai fix. Rest assured, they can be found. Here are my top 5 picks of where to get acai in London.

Juicebaby, Chelsea

This is by far the best acai bowl I found in London. It has that thick, icecream-like consistency, clustery cacao granola and the option to add peanut butter on top… It’s everything you could ask of an acai bowl.

They also have a delicious range of cold pressed juices, smoothies and salads. The “Holy Kale” salad with avocado and creamy cashew ‘cheese’ dressing and the “Nut Butter Fudge” smoothie are both to die for.

Farm Girl Cafe, Oxford Circus

Farm Girl in Notting Hill has been around for a while but they now have a second store in Carnaby Street, right by Oxford Circus. After giving them a little insta-stalk I was pretty confident I would be a fan… and that I was. Thick, creamy and a generous serve (tick, tick, tick). It is quite different to the acai bowl in their Notting Hill cafe and in my opinion a lot better.

Granger and Co, Notting Hill

Another quality spot for an acai fix. The serving size is quite small and it could definitely be a bit thicker, but the flavour is on point. I recommend asking for a side of almond butter. Granger and Co have so many good Aussie breakfast options though… it would be hard to go wrong. They also have one of the best almond milk coffees I came across in London.

Bodyism, Notting Hill

Not only do they having an entire acai menu but they also include different superfood supplements from the Bodyism ‘Clean and Lean’ range. It is such a great, easy way to increase your nutrient intake whilst travelling… We really miss our superfood boosters when we are away. If you have time, try out one of the Bodyism exercise classes or body treatments, too.

The Good Life Eatery, multiple locations

The Good Life acai has a more tropical flavour as it is blended with pineapple and apple. Personally I prefer the more decadent style acai blended with frozen banana, peanut butter etc. but this one is still great, especially if you’re craving something light and fruity. I recommend adding a side of coconut yoghurt.
