Why tamari, not soy?
Tamari is a wheat-free alternative to soy, that is also significantly lower in salt. It is a very versatile seasoning that is delicious in sauces, stir fries, and of course, for roasting nuts. Tamari adds great flavour as well as a range of health benefits.
Tamari is a source of Vitamin B3, manganese, protein and tryptophan. Tryptophan contributes to the production of serotonin which can help to stabilise or enhance mood.
You can substitute tamari in place of soy sauce in practically all recipes. We use it in majority (if not all!) our Asian inspired recipes. To access all our recipes download our recipe app which is available on iPhone and Android.
