1 cup organic self-raising flour (choose gluten free if required)
1/4 cup cacao powder
2-3 tbsp chocolate and hazelnut protein
1 cup oat milk
2 eggs beaten (or vegan egg alternative)
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla essence

Coconut yoghurt
Crushed hazelnuts

Preheat waffle iron for 5-10 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix well.
In a separate bowl, add oat milk, whisked eggs, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix to combine.
Slowly add ‘wet’ ingredients to the dry and mix through.
Once the waffle iron has heated, spoon approx. 1/4 cup of the mixture per waffle, close lid and leave to cook for 4-5 minutes.
Serve with melted chocolate, crushed hazelnuts, coconut yoghurt and/or fresh berries.
