Nice cream is a summer essential. It is the perfect alternative to ice cream with that creamy texture we all love, just without any of the added sugars, flavours and preservatives.

The pineapple gives this tropical berry nicecream a refreshing twist but if you prefer a more traditional strawberry flavour simply add 1 extra banana and omit pineapple.

This recipe is so simple there’s no excuse not to give it a go! No superfood powders, no unusual ingredients… just good, wholesome food. The only preparation required is to chop and freeze the fruit in advance of blending.

Serves 3-4.


3 frozen bananas, chopped
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup frozen strawberries


  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spoon into bowls, top with fresh berries (or choc-dipped as in our case), coconut flakes and/or cacao nibs.
