All our acai bowls are pretty antioxidant packed… But this one is next level containing pitaya, acai, maqui, blueberries and strawberries.
For this Super Berry Bowl recipe, we use Amazonia frozen acai (unsweetened) and frozen pitaya – Australia’s first certified organic pitaya. We really haven’t found anything else on the market that comes close in terms of both taste and quality… We are addicted!
Starting the day with a balanced and healthy breakfast such as this will help keep your energy levels lifted throughout the morning. We also find that having a bigger breakfast decreases the likelihood of snacking or overeating later on in the day… And who wouldn’t want to wake up to this!
To enhance the already impressive nutritional value of this recipe, we’ve included Power Superfoods hormone-balancing maca powder, as well as maqui powder, another rich source of antioxidants that is beneficial for skin.
1 frozen acai sachet
1 frozen pitaya sachet
2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 tbsp raw honey
1/2 tbsp maqui powder
1/4 cup coconut water
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tsp maca powder
- Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to bowls and top with your choice of granola, fresh fruits and/or additional peanut butter. Serve immediately.
