These delicious coco-berry bowls are made using only 5 ingredients. We’ve used a combination of Amazonia coconut flesh and frozen banana to create the creamy texture – this is also a great option for those who aren’t crazy about bananas as it gives a more subtle taste.
- 400 grams frozen coconut flesh
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 tsp coconut nectar
- Dash coconut water
- Combine all ingredients in a high power blender (we use a Mod Blend Pro blender). Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Top with fresh raspberries and macadamias.
Why we use a Mod Blend Pro
So many of our recipes depend upon a good quality, high power blender. For us it is a must have appliance. We use a Mod Blend Pro which meets our many blending needs with its commercial grade, 3.5 horse power motor, utillising the highest quality, BPA-free materials and craftsmanship. Power aside, this appliance is also beautifully designed – a stylish centrepiece in the Healthy Luxe kitchen!
Our MOD blender is never put away as we use it several times a day for our morning smoothie bowls, raw desserts, nice cream, soups and spreads, as well as our basics like flours, nut butter and nut milks.
We also love our Mod Cold Press juicer that we use not only to make nutrient dense juices, but also for nut butter and sorbet. The Cold Press extraction method provides far more living enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals than traditional juicers.
