This creamy, three-ingredient raspberry ‘nice cream’ can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and tastes a treat.
We love adding superfoods for enhanced flavour and nutrients. You can add whatever you like according to personal preference and availability. Some of our favourites include freeze-dried acai powder, maqui powder and lucuma powder which are all available from health food stores.
Another great smoothie addition is Pro Plenish marine collagen. It is fantastic for hair, skin and nails and after consuming daily for a month, my mum and I have already experienced the benefits.
4 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 tbsp cashew butter
1 tbsp your choice of superfood powder (acai, maqui, lucuma), optional
- Place all ingredients in a high power-blender, blend until smooth
- Transfer to bowls and add your choice of toppings (additional cashew butter, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, fresh berries, etc)
- Serve and enjoy
